Consistently the very best fast food fish & chips in Lincoln City! Absolutely delicious!! Due to Covid-19, no inside service, only take-out. Call in your order, give your name, then they will come to the door calling your name to pay and pick up your order and enjoy!

Super good and always busy. Order first before you get a table is the motto. We waited a little bit but it was well worth the wait. Fish and shrimp were big and not greasy. We would definitely come back next time we're in town

I don't want anyone else to be as disappointed as I am right now. I only had the fish and chips (you know, the food the place is named after) so maybe other stuff is better, but it was so bad I refuse to try anything else. I honestly don't know how they were able to remove ALL flavor from their fish. Sorcery may be involved. The food appeared and felt to be hot out of the fryer but was somehow soggy? I don't know what trickery this restaurant is about and I highly recommend not finding out. If you're craving good fish, take a beautiful drive down 101 to Grand Central Pizza. I know, pizza? But trust me, their fish is goooood!

Best fish and chips at the Oregon Coast—at least central Oregon Coast. Clam chowder, fish tacos, and cole slaw are also outstanding. Best when eaten hot and fresh, so eat it within 10-15 minutes if you take it out. Great prices. Service is great once you get to know their procedures and signs—they take care of their courteous customers and confront their pushy or selfish customers to be sure everyone has room to eat and to be served as quickly as possible.

Great halibut n chips dry not greasy ... good chowder will make a point to visit next time in the area

Worst customer service you will ever experience. The owner is extremely rude, has no clue how to run a high volume business and could care less if you patronize this establishment. Save yourself the time and hassle to visit one of the accommodating restaurants in the area. The food does not justify the owner's terrible attitude towards people trying to give her money.

Great service during COVID. Super tasty cod with just the right breading. Excellent tarter sauce, delicious coat-your-spoon chowder and perfectly seasoned curly fries.

We stopped here for the first time after passing by many times. Ordered fish and chips, shrimp and coleslaw. All were top notch. As it was winter time the outside seating could not be used causing limited seating. The food prep was very fast. The only downside is the very small indoor seating area since this place is a local hot spot. Definitely recommend.

Got the 10 piece family meal cod - super pleased! Fish and fries were barely greasy, breading was light and crunchy and fish was cooked PERFECTLY. It just falls apart it's so juicy and flaky. We ordered at lunch time on a Saturday and only had to wait 15 minutes. So happy I finally tried this place!

Fish is good, fries are average, chowder needs improvement. Overall a decent meal. Service is fast.

Really tasty fish and chips. So tender and flaky it almost falls apart when you pick it up. Fortunately you get a fork with your meal. The fish is lightly breaded which I prefer to a heavy batter.

Honestly the food is great. So good in fact that we came back the next day to order the same thing. However, this time they decided not to include the coleslaw. When I asked where it was they said ‘we’re out but we gave you more fries.’ No they didn’t it was the exact same amount of fries as yesterday. If I didn’t ask about it they wouldn’t have said anything. Bad business. Shady even. Should have mentioned it over the phone or charged less.

J’s may be a tiny hole in the wall, but the fish and chips are out of this world!Not the place to go if you are in a huge hurry. Carry out only in COVID times, and busy-but well worth the wait!

Service is not what they are known for. I have never had my food in a timely manner here. It is completely worth the wait. Everything on the menu is perfect.

First time there,very enthusiastically recommended, so we tried the fish (cod) and chips. We were so pleased with the quality of the fish and batter. The curly fries were perfect and the coleslaw great!! We will recommend this place to our many friends!!

I found the three-piece halibut basket to be very good the curly fries are also good. Reg.fries not so good, a little limp could be crisper.

This was very disappointing. It was 14 dollars for 3 piece halibut and 10 for 3 pieces of cod . The meals came with coleslaw and fries . It was tasteless the breading was not even coating the fish very well (I do have to say the fish was cooked to perfection). The coleslaw had no sauce the fries had no salt . The wait is to long for mediocre food.

First off I would like to say that there food is not bad but it’s the costumer service. Our family came down to have a nice lunch we called in and when I was on the phone this guy was very rude. We have never been here and they said nothing on how this works so we thought they came out and delivered so we said we were in a grey car so on and he said, “don’t say that” but it was very strange but he also said some other weird things besides that the food came fast! We came home and we ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and some other fish stuff on the menu, the fish wasn’t bad but we have had better. The chicken sandwich was not even a sandwich it was just 2 chicken tenders in bread but the chicken was good. The fries was not the best but that’s because of the steam and it made it soggy but I think if we ate in (or could eat in) they would have been delicious. Not a bad lunch spot but all together just was a meh and if it was close and we were hungry we would go there again.

I am sure this place doesn't need anymore 5 star reviews but here is mine. Best fish in LC! Perfectly cooked and flaky. Fries, slaw and sauce also excellent. Reasonably priced. What more can you ask for?

Well cooked and excellent curly fries and chicken strips. Everything was nice and crispy. The fish and the regular fries were a little bland but still pretty good. We'll probably come back.

Three of us went on Friday. You have to phone in your order if you drive up. We had 2 types of fish and chips and fish tacos. I absolutely loved my fish tacos and the fish and chips we're delish as well. We were there at an off time and the wait was short. But the car next to us kept getting a busy signal and they finally left. The best fish and chips in Lincoln City.

The best in town: I love getting a simple side of coconut shrimp with sweet chili sauce. Take it to D River State Park and watch the ocean for a perfect experience.
